As kids, Lee Hye Won and Lee Hye Ji were close. But after their parents split up, they lived separately. Hye Won stayed with their dad, while Hye Ji lived with their mom. As they grew up, their lives were very different.
Now, as adults, Hye Won seems perfect, but she’s carrying emotional scars from her past, especially because of her stepmom. She’s engaged to Yoon Ji Chang, whose dad owns JY Group.
On the other hand, Hye Ji has faced poverty, loneliness, and abuse from her mom and stepdad. She wants to change her life, so she changes her name to Bae Do Eun. She starts a relationship with Yi Cheol, who also owns JY Group. Eventually, she meets her sister Hye Won again after many years.
