Jin Se Yeon ( 진세연 ) , born Kim Yoon Jung, is an acclaimed South Korean actress celebrated for her work in popular television dramas and films. She made her acting debut in 2010 with the drama It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter and quickly gained attention. Her career includes standout roles in Bridal Mask (2012), Five Fingers (2012), Inspiring Generation (2014), Doctor Stranger (2014), The Flower in Prison (2016), Grand Prince (2018), and Item (2019).
Before acting, Jin began her career as an idol trainee with Star Empire Entertainment for the girl group Jewelry. However, she soon shifted her focus to acting after appearing in several TV commercials. Jin graduated from Chung-Ang University, majoring in Theater and Film, and has since built a reputation as a versatile actress.
In 2012, Jin revealed she had adjusted her age on her résumé, listing her birth year as 1994 instead of 1993. Her agency explained that she had debuted at just 17 years old, and this change was intended to help her secure roles that would have otherwise been difficult due to her youth.
